Plot Overview
When Mark treats a 37-year-old woman with Down Syndrome with an enlarged heart, he tries to figure out why she has been denied a spot on the heart transplant list; Benton returns to work after his appendectomy; Carol returns to work after her suspension and decides to take the medical school admissions test; Carter treats a woman with a serious medical condition whose symptoms were overlooked by Dr. Anspaugh; Jeanie and Dr. Fischer go out on a second date; Doug complies with the wishes of an 18-year-old boy with cystic fibrosis who wants to be taken off a respirator.
