Plot Overview
Abby (who was Carol's nurse when she had her twin daughters) starts her first day in the ER as a medical student; a flu epidemic fills the ER and affects some of the staff; Corday's mother comes to town; Carol and Luka treat a little boy whom Carol suspects that the mother is intentionally making him sick; Carter and Cleo treat two boys (one of them who has muscular dystrophy) who get into a scuffle at school; Romano suffers from a kidney stone during surgery; Lucy tries to make an eldery patient with congestive heart failure comfortable.
