Dirty Jobs is the Discovery Channel's look at the unappealing, unsanitary, or simply unbelievable work that goes on all over the United States every day. Host Mike Rowe visits workers and learns their trades. He then puts what he learns into action, performing the dirty job himself. From diving for golf balls to recycling sludge, Rowe suffers for the amusement and edification of the television audience.

Dirty Jobs has so far had two kinds of releases: season sets and collections. The seasons set are only available from the Discovery Channel store. The first one released was Season 1, which included all of the pilot and season 1 episodes as well as the first season 2 episode. The Season 2 release is mistitled, because it includes 24 episodes from season 4 and the first episode from season 5. The collections, where are available outside of the Discovery Channel stores, include random assortments of episodes.
