- "Born Free" by Andy Williams: The song which tips Dexter towards where Brian is hiding out is "Born Free," performed by Andy Williams in the case of this episode. "Born Free" was a song composed for the movie of the same name and is about a lion cub named Elsa raised by an African couple who shot her mother out of self-defense.
