Dawson's Creek's is a coming of age story focusing on four teenagers in the quaint, fictional town of Capside, Mass. The show was the first mega-hit for the fledgling WB network. Its premier tagline "It's the end of something simple. And the beginning of everything else." is a good summation of the show. We join Joey, Dawson, Pacey, and Jen as they begin their sophomore year of high school, just as things are getting complicated. The show, the Dawson character particularly, is partially auto-biographical for its creator Kevin Williamson, and was taped near his hometown in Wilmington, North Carolina.
