Dante Basco is a Filipino-American actor known mostly for his film roles, especially Rufio in Hook. In television, he is best known for his voice acting as Prince Zuko on Avatar: The Last Airbender and Jake Long in American Dragon: Jake Long.

He was born third in a family of four brothers and one sister and shares a birthday with Derek Basco, his oldest brother. All four brothers began their career in dance and joined the Streat Freaks breakdancing crew. He moved into smaller television roles, then gained notice with his portrayal of Rufio in Steven Spielberg's 1991 film Hook.

He has continued to work in film and television extensively, including a recurring role on Moesha and guest roles on Providence, Touched by an Angel, Entourage, and The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

He continues to work with his brothers regularly and is engaged to a producer.
