The Wonder Years follows the growth of young Kevin Arnold (Fred Savage) through his formative years. The show is set in suburban America during the 1960's and 1970's. It features period music and historical events. The show ran for six seasons on ABC from 1988 when it premiered in the coveted post Super Bowl time slot until May 1993. The show was cancelled early and the last (two-part) episode had to be hacked into a season finale.
