From The TV IV

Danny Phantom is an animated paranormal comedy that airs on Nickelodeon. The show follows fourteen year-old Daniel "Danny" Fenton, son of ghost hunters Jack and Maddie Fenton, and his friends, Samantha "Sam" Manson, and Tucker Foley. After an urging by Sam, Danny ventured inside his parents ghost portal and woke up to find himself with ghost powers. The show is very episodic, with the main plotline being that of Danny dealing with both fighting ghosts and trying to be a normal fourteen year-old.

On January 24, 2006, Nickelodeon announced they would not be renewing The Fairly OddParents or Danny Phantom, announcing that it would end support for new episodes in February 2007.
