Goofs

  • The position of Olson's body changes, as well as his mouth going from open to closed.
  • When Dominic first shows up at the building, you can see the police tape at the end of the street come undone and fall. Without any sign of another officer at the scene, it's seen back up in later shots.
  • When Sam points at the parking meter-looking device, the constable can be seen looking up from her notepad in the two consecutive shots.

Quotes

  • Philip Simms: Christ, is it still here? When are you going to get rid of this?
Dominic: What - What are you actually talking about, sir?
Philip Simms: This. It's blocking my door. How long is it going to be here?
Dominic: This, sir, is a man.
  • Dominic: Well, Mr. Simms, with two M's, that's a deceased man that's in your doorstep there, and he's going to remain there until I decide, or not. But you, sir, will remain an asshole forever.
  • Flynn: You've pissed off the wrong guy again.
Dominic: Well, let me know when I've pissed off the right guy. Maybe we'll see some action.
  • Roy LaBoucane: So the bullet comes in through the wall, through the lamp, ends up in the bathroom. The guy says if he hadn't been laying down banging his girlfriend, he would've got it in the teeth.
Leo: He'd have been coming and going at the same time.
  • Flynn: Given your expressed desire for the position of Chief Coroner, you may want to consider extending an olive branch to a very influential member of our civic community.
Dominic: Yeah, see there, right there. That's exactly the difference between you and me in a nutshell, Jimmy. You don't seem to think that the job requires calling somebody on their shit, even when they deserve it.
Flynn: That is not the job as described by the Coroner's Act, I know that.
Dominic: Well, maybe it goddamn should be!
