Plot Overview

The media goes into a frenzy when Dominic's red light proposal is backed up, but in the midst of it, they get wind of the Mayor's role in the hit-and-run.

Rose works a case of a wife who believes her husband was killed by his co-workers.

Mick and Kosmo move on to an investigation of an escort killing a client in self-defence while the Tuan siblings try to throw Mick off their trail.

Leo's investigative work for Dominic quickly turns up interesting findings.

Happenings

• Lila chastises her brother about making the deal. He says the cops wanted Will at the boat and might have been responsible for killing him. She later calls Mick to give him Vin's address, but gives him information about Will's friend Ivan. Mick talks with Vin who tells him he saw Will and Ivan were arguing about money. He also tells him Simms was on the raid on the boat.

• Ted Fellows confronts Dominic about the lack of progress in the investigation and threatens to go to the media. Soon The Sun runs a story about a cover-up he's pieced together from the court transcripts. Dominic expresses his suspicion to Kelly and Jacobs that it was the mayor himself that hit the girl.

• Klothcko sets Dino up with a job working with the union.

• Jacobs interviews Brian about being a bump to Homicide.

• Leo found the notebook includes the names and numbers who were under investigation by the same P.I. and that they're all under the same account of the law firm Norton & Feldman.

• Leo meets with the Hathaway's maid, Anna, and she says they were fighting the morning after the hit-and-run.
