Plot Overview

Instigated by claims made by Jacobs to the Solicitor General, the Complaints Commission bears their investigation down on the Mayor.

Internal begins questioning the three officers involved in the grow-op shooting.

Curtis tries to convince witnesses to take a leave to Mexico.

Happenings

  • The prostitute sought out over the stabbing turns herself in. She claims she stabbed him when he tried to take her into rehab.
  • Komori gets out without any charges being pressed.
  • Curtis talks to Manny that Dubreau wants him also to leave the country for five years. He offers him to go to Mexico and will be paid. Curtis approaches the manager at the Century hotel, but walks away. Curtis offers Messner a trip to Mexico, but he refuses.
  • A lawyer from the Complaints Commission shows up at the mayor's office with a warrant to search for documents Dominic failed to hand over. Dominic learns from Kaspar that Jacobs has filed a complaint him for harassment and obstruction. The tactic is to lessen Dominic's influence over policing. With the coroner's finding being the potential to find evidence of a cover-up, Dominic asks Mick to look for signs that someone went in an planted a notice after the incident.
  • Earl Sweeney presents the fire department with a memo regarding the cost of cross-training 50 personal and a letter requesting a list of Chief replacements. The unions combat it by putting a picket line at the policeman's ball.
  • Manning prepares to settle with Pacific Com out of court for compensation and asks Dominic to be the intermediary.
  • Ferris, Winters, and Jones cooperate with Internal to get reinstated. Ferris's psychiatrist doesn't believe she should be reinstated.
  • Katie claims to be a witness, but not a participate, as another boy named Reid led the others.
  • The squatters set up in the building across from the police station.
  • The hotel manager tells Mick that Cody Bell ran out of the club and was hit and killed by a car. Mick believes this could help rule it as a homicide.
  • Dominic learns Woo sent the union a letter that it would be the last year at Hastings and has been inviting owners, breeders, and staff to his track in Delta. He confronts Woo and threatens a lawsuit if negates the conditions of his lease. Woo awaits a proposal.
