Plot Overview

A serial killer has claimed six victims over three states, and from prints found at the scene of the latest murder, Torello is able to determine that the killer is a high-profile nuclear scientist. When they go to the Air Force base where the man is staying, they discover that the man has escaped, and Torello suspects that the head man on the base helped the killer escape to Mexico. Also, the Task Force discovers that Weisbord and Goldman have been smuggling contraband across the border. This leads the team down to Mexico and into a showdown with the rogue Air Force officer, who not only helped the killer in his flight, but also the two mobsters. Weisbord is surprised to find that Luca and Pauli survived the nuclear blast and have been holed up south of the border.
