Detective Lilly Rush is shot at the end of this episode. As routine on all Cold Case episodes, the show ended with the last few minutes being played with a song. The song "Stolen" by Dashboard Confessional, played as Lilly is rushed to the hospital and Detective Scotty Valens paces outside of her hospital room.
