Plot Overview
A business owner dies after receiving a blow to the head during a 'friendly' touch football game, and Annabeth is ready to charge the man who struck him with involuntary manslaughter...until an autopsy reveals that the real cause of death was poisoning by anti-freeze. The catch in the case is that Annabeth knows both the victim and the accused killer very well, as well as the dead man's wife and business partner, as all four went to high school with her! The wife at first is the prime suspect, as she stood to gain $10,000,000 if the husband were to die, but Annabeth sadly discovers that the man's trusted business partner, whom she accompanied to his senior prom, had not just motive (he was embezzling), but means and opportunity to commit the murder.
