Plot Overview
An anesthesiologist's administering of an overdose of an opiate leads to the death of a patient on the operating table. Tipped off that this was more than a mere medical error, Annabeth probes both the anesthesiologist and the dead woman and discovers that, not only did the two women know each other, but that the doctor held a grudge against the victim going back to high school, and suspects murder under the guise of medical malpractice.
