Plot Overview

After a Little League game, a young boy on the losing team kills another boy, a friend of his, with a bat. Annabeth is certain that the boy's coach put the bug in his head to commit the deadly deed, but she has to first prove her suspicions that the coach has a pattern of commanding his players to use violence against opponents. Maureen tries to aid her sister after she's arrested for felony shoplifting.
