Trivia
The Show
Taped January 27-28, 1977, "Ed Talks To God" is memorable in that this episode was completed just hours before Freddie Prinze went home, took a shotgun to his head and fired. Stories vary on when he was found and who may or may not have been with him that afternoon. However, it is known he was taken to UCLA Medical Center, underwent emergency surgery and placed on life support. His family removed him from life support, and he died at 1PM on January 29.
Five weeks after Prinze's death, this episode aired on NBC, on schedule.
