Plot Overview
Diane's mother arrives and announces that because of a strange provision in her father's will, Diane must get married by the end of the day or her mother will be broke. Sam agrees to a sham wedding to satisfy the terms of the will.

Behind the Scenes
- Paul Wilson makes his first appearance on the show, as a man who knows all the lyrics to the Bonanza theme song. Coach introduces him as Gregg, though the same actor would go on to play the recurring part of Paul Krapence later in the series. In what is likely a fan wank, it's possible that this is in fact Paul, and that Coach got his name wrong.
