Season Overview

The first season opens with a look into the title character's doings in his home universe (Alphaverse), and soon finds him thrown into his new life in Betaverse, disoriented and clueless as to how and why he was sent there. The mysterious Reena follows in the same catastrophic switch, roaming the streets as a terrorist without refuge, thanks to some creative scapegoating by the ruthless Vexcor Corporation. Charlie quickly finds a helping hand in local private investigator and conspiracy theorist Karl Lubinsky. The season explores the symbiosis between Charlie's need for a way back to his wife, Karl's desire to believe Charlie's story, and their mutual interest in Vexcor's multiversal schemes.
