Championship Sports was an American professional wrestling program that aired in local syndication on KTVT in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas. It was the local program for Dallas-based World Class Championship Wrestling (and, in its final year, the United States Wrestling Association). Originally known as Main Event Wrestling from its debut in 1965 to 1974, then as Saturday Night Wrestling from 1974 to 1982 and then as Championship Sports from 1982 until the show was cancelled by KTVT in September 1990, it was produced by KTVT and Southwest Sports Inc. (which also syndicated the show).
Although most of the WCCW program archive is currently owned by World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), the footage from Championship Sports was not included in the WCCW archive sale to WWE in 2006 and is thus not owned by WWE.
