Plot Overview
Once again, Ponch is assigned 'Brat Patrol' duty (overseeing the CHP's Explorers group), and this time, he has to get the kids ready for another challenge from the LAPD Explorers...a basketball game. He also uses the kids on an undercover assignment--helping to bust a trio of high school kids who are shaking down junior high students. Additionally, he counsels the kids on different problems: he convinces Roland and Gordo to not be afraid and identify the high school kids they witnessed committing extortion, convinces basketball-crazy C.T. to get better grades in school and not rely on his athletic ability to carry him through life, gives Becky Lou advice on how to handle the pressure from her boyfriend to have sex, and gets Johnny to show his father a little more respect. While all this is going on, Getraer has the other officers searching for his brand-new car, which was stolen right in front of him by a pair of beautiful blondes.
