Plot Overview

A delivery truck involved in an accident is involved in the theft of over a million dollars worth of computer chips, and the two thieves have a connection to the young computer hacker who's managed to access the CHP's computer system and play havoc with everyone's paychecks and even Ponch's 'little black book'. Another vehicle involved in the accident is a gardener's truck, stolen by a spunky resident of a senior citizen's home who just doesn't like being confined, and the bad guys go after her after she catches a glimpse of one of them. Jon and Ponch must prevent the thieves from rendezvousing with a boat where a representative of a foreign power is going to buy the stolen chips. They also hook up their new friend from the senior home, who loves to cook, with a friend who owns a cafe on the beach.
