Plot Overview
Jon and Ponch volunteer for duty with K-9 officers of the LAPD, where they're each teamed with two officers--Ponch with a pretty blonde, Jon with a proud Italian--and they aid their new colleagues and their dogs in a couple of drug busts and also with finding a bomb inside an X-rated movie theater, where one of the dogs is tragically blinded but still retains its sense of smell. Most of the time, though, Ponch and Jon have to act as referees between their two partners, who are heatedly competing for the last job in the K-9 unit. The LAPD officers and their dogs also help their new CHP friends in the pursuit of a pair of tour bus robbers.
