Fast Money is the tenth episode of the fifth season of CHiPs, and the one hundredth episode overall.
A pair of thieves rob couriers of their bags, using an unusual claw device that attaches on to the couriers' cars. Ponch, who's about to be evicted when his apartment is turned into luxury condos, takes on a temporary roommate who's in the same boat, a cute blonde who just happens to be dating Jon. She happens to work as a courier and becomes another victim of the thieves.

Plot Overview
In the end, Ponch agrees to go undercover as a courier, driving a car with a claw device of its own. The robbers take the bait, and Ponch uses the "turnabout is fair play" tactic to take control of the van. The robbers, realizing they've been caught, try to flee but are quickly cornered, leaving them no choice but to surrender without incident.
