Plot Overview

Getraer assigns Jon, Ponch, Baricza and another officer named Powell to the town of Palma Vista, whose police force is undermanned due to an officers' strike. Ponch becomes involved with a beautiful race car driver who finds a lost young girl outside of a burning farmhouse. The girl refuses to tell anyone her name. The striking officers give the visiting CHP guys a hard time.
