Plot Overview

Candi wants to adopt adorable orphan Donna, and Ponch helps her through the red tape. Candi's backer worries that her over-involvement with Donna is affecting her racing ability. Jon, placed in charge of the day shift of officers, finds himself mired in city politics after busting a councilman's son for reckless driving, and he also tries to mediate the dispute between the striking cops and the city manager. After discovering that a hijacking ring they've been chasing is hiding out in Palma Vista, Jon manages to get a few of the disgruntled cops to aid them on the bust.
