Plot Overview
A car accident temporarily orphans the friend of the Getraers' son Timmy when the boy's mother is critically injured in a three-car crash. The officers search for the lone car that left the scene of the accident, a car with a passenger who had good reason not to stick around--he's a career criminal who's gathered together a number of his old prison buddies to pull off a big bank caper. The Getraers temporarily take in Timmy's friend Pat, who proves to be quite a handful, and after the boy's father is tracked down, Jon and Joe try to talk some sense into the man regarding his son.
