Plot Overview
At a photo shoot for the cover of one of her new books, a glamorous romance novelist is blown sky-high by an exploding box of chocolates. So who will Amos and Peter throw the book at? Her assistant? The handsome model for her book covers (whom she was trying to get back into bed)? Her ex-husband (a one-time Pulitzer-prize winner now resorting to writing bad romance novels)? Or one of her two main competitors? Amos is dismayed when all the evidence seems to point to one of her rivals, Barbara Manchester, with whom he had a romantic relationship after his wife died.
