Behind the Scenes
Guest star Dean Jones played the role of Detective Tim Tilson in the series' pilot, "Who Killed Julie Greer?", which aired two years earlier on The Dick Powell Theatre.
Allusions and References
Early in the episode, Burke is searching around Professor Kingston's property and does a double-take upon seeing a tombstone reading 'He called Bat Masterson a liar'. This is an obvious in-joke relating to series star Gene Barry having previously played Bat Masterson in that popular series.
