Bill Moyers' Journal (1972–1976; 1979–1981; 2007—) is a documentary news program and occasional talk show broadcast on PBS. The series is hosted by former Newsday publisher and noted journalist Bill Moyers. In each episode, Moyers takes an approach similar to news magazine programs like 60 Minutes where the content is made up of in-depth coverage of the news of the day.

The series was first sparked following the sale of Newsday to the Times-Mirror Company, which caused Moyers to abdicate his role as publisher of the newspaper. He moved to television news on PBS with Bill Moyers' Journal in 1972, which ran until April 16, 1976 when Moyers placed the series on hiatus in order to work for CBS News. The series returned for a short time on February 5, 1979 until June 21, 1981.

After over 25 years off the air, the series returned once again in 2007 with a special documentary about the media and its role in selling the War in Iraq. The 90-minute report was the first in a planned 99 episodes running through February 2009 and may be extended beyond that point, despite Moyers' age.
