|On January 4, 2015, I will be shutting down the server that hosts The TV IV website. It has been a very long time since I've been able to put any decent amount of time into the site, and ad revenue is plummeting. I think it is time to shut it down or hand it off to someone who can keep it going properly. If you are interested in taking over the site's code and data, contact administrators at tviv.org. --CygnusTMtalk|
Battlestar Galactica (2003)/Alex Quartararo

Boomer's ECO. Replaced Helo after he was left on Caprica. Not exactly what you would call an experienced infantry officer.
After Helo stayed behind on Caprica, Alex "Crashdown" Quartararo was assigned as Boomer's new ECO. Boomer initially gave him a hard time, but their relationship seemed to warm up quickly, and from both events in the episode Litmus and a deleted scene in Kobol's Last Gleaming (1) (after Boomer's suicide attempt), it is clear that Crashdown cared a lot for Boomer. Crashdown had an ongoing relationship with Ensign Davis, of whom little is known save that she's blonde and thinks he's "cute".
After surviving the crash on Kobol, Crash suddenly found himself the only officer among the survivors, a situation for which he was completely unprepared. He failed to provide effective leadership due to his inexperience in ground combat and was ultimately shot and killed by Gaius Baltar when he threatened to execute Specialist Cally for refusing to follow (presumably) suicidal orders. To cover up the incident, the other survivors claimed he died a hero, leading the assault against the Cylons.
- Alex's name was given on his Battlestar Galactica Collectible Card Game card, and later confirmed by Bradley Thompson in a post on Battlestar Wiki
