- Norman finds his car outside the bar Mother went to. He soon discovers that he, as Mother, has been frequenting it and has been involved in possible S&M and having sex with various people.
- Norman runs into Dr Edwards, with whom he is no longer in therapy, and their conversation reminds him that he sees Norma and sometimes becomes her. This combined with his recollection of Mother's sexual encounters, leads him to suspect and fear that's what he's been experiencing since her death.
