[edit] The Show

The initial plan was to have this episode made as an episode of Cannon, with Buddy Ebsen guest-starring as Barnaby Jones. When a time slot opened up and a replacement series was needed, the decision was made to go ahead with the series, and William Conrad guest-starring in the first episode of Barnaby Jones.
