Bad Hat Harry Productions is a production company started by director/writer/producer Bryan Singer. The company, which produces television shows, video games, and films, has produced well-known films such as The Usual Suspects and Apt Pupil. They also produced the first two X-Men movies as well as X-Men: First Class and upcoming film X-Men: Days of Future Past. Previous projects also include the sci-fi miniseries The Triangle, film Superman Returns, and hit television FOX show House, M.D..

The name is taken from a scene in the 1975 film Jaws, in which Police Chief Brody, played by Roy Scheider, tells elderly swimmer Harry his opinion of his ugly swimming cap, "That's some bad hat Harry." The scene is reflected in the production company's title card, which uses the line from the film and shows a shark's fin in the background.
