Referbacks

  • S.O.B.s: Tobias prepares a gift basket with decorative soaps for Wayne Jarvis.
  • Switch Hitter: Lucille and Buster do yet another cover for Balboa Bay Window magazine.
  • Motherboy XXX: "Operation: Hot Brother" picks up where "Operation: Hot Mother" left off.
  • The British Bombshell: One of Saddam Hussein's lookalikes is played by Larry Thomas (uncredited), who played the Soup Nazi in Seinfeld. This is a reference to when George Sr. previously claimed he thought Saddam was the Soup Nazi.

Trivia

The Show

  • Unlike most of the URLs listed on the show, comasense.com is not registered to FOX and has no content. The portion of the page that appeared on screen reads:
Make Money In Your Comatose Loved One's Spare Time.

 Latin Models Needed.

Feeling helpless? Feeling blue? Feeling like praying just isn't
enough? Feel like your loved one would feel guilty draining your
pocketbook while they just lay around and get fat? Well, we
 have the solution for you!

Your loved one can pay their own way through the medical bills
by being a model for artists, cosmeticians, and photographers.
Their bodies and/or parts can be used for experimental purposes.
And in some cases, (though very rare), male patients can be used

Behind the Scenes

  • This was the third in a set of four episodes that aired on Friday, February 10th, 2006 (opposite the opening ceremonies of the 2006 Winter Olympics), that marked the end of original Arrested Development episodes on FOX.

Allusions and References

  • Alias: When Buster and Michael go to Iraq to get G.O.B. out of prison the title card is a reference to the show Alias which often announces locations with similar cards.
  • The Prosecution: Tobias believes that "The Prosecution" is a CBS procedural, since that network airs an unusually high number of crime solving shows (CSI and its spinoffs, Without a Trace, Cold Case, etc).
  • Prof. Munch's Scrapbooking Class: Richard Belzer appears as Det. John Munch, a role he has played regularly on Homicide: Life on the Street and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. He has also played Det. Munch as a guest star in crossover episodes on Law & Order, Law & Order: Trial by Jury, The X-Files, and a short lived series called The Beat. Adding Arrested Development to the list probably means this is some kind of record.
  • Address Book: George Michael sends out invitations to everyone in Maeby's address book, including a "P. Hilton." Inexplicably famous socialite Paris Hilton once had her mobile phone hacked and had the private numbers of many celebrities released on the internet.
