From The TV IV

Season Three of Aqua Teen Hunger Force premiered on April 25, 2004. As of this season, the episodes begin with a brief Spacecataz intro which continues a story throughout the episodes. Spacecataz was originally meant to be a full-fledged spin-off series, but the writers realized that there wasn't nearly enough material they could write for the characters to make it through a season. Instead, the concept was carried over into the main series. The season ended on October 24, 2004.
