Plot Overview

John advised Bill to let wiser heads prevail, as Missy threw herself onto the cot and sobbed. Lee came home and told Bill she intends to speak to Lenore, then was floored when Pat and John told her of Missy's arrest. Walter told Dru he anticipates no problem convincing a jury that Missy's a liar, and dismissed the amount of time between the shots firing and Missy being found over the body. Dru, who felt they were dancing a minuet, was unnerved when Walter asked him to prove that Bill and Missy didn't love each other. Bill warned Pat not to count on Lee being able to keep quiet to John about her and Mike. Liz showed up to beg Bill to come home, and he agreed once he heard from Dru who requested the matron bring Missy a sleeping pill. Missy nightmared that Liz as Judge Matthews forbade Bill from marrying her: Danny laughed derisively, then thurst his hand over Bill's mouth and dragged him away: Danny dragged Missy away as Liz prevented Bill from saving her. Missy woke up screaming as Danny said he was her jailer, Liz said she had no name, and Bill called her name.
