Plot Overview
Liz was relieved when Bill said Danny doesn't know he saw Missy, then frightened her when he crashed his fist into his palm at mention of Danny's name. She tried to convince him it would be dangerous to confront a man like Danny. Danny insisted to Missy that a punk like Sam didn't scare him, then blew up when she balked at the idea of splitting town after she signs papers at the bank tomorrow. Sam phoned to remind Danny he'd snitch to the cops if he didn't pay him off. At the Chicago airport, Charlie worried about Madge, who intended to confront Danny about the money he "borrowed" from Flo. Madge vowed to be reckless and give it to him good. Feeling trapped, a panicky Danny phoned for a taxi on the South Street entrance, then raged at Missy to pack her suitcases. Missy gasped when she came across the gun in the dresser drawer. Liz was satisfied when parroting John's sage advice prevented Bill from running out to check on Missy. Danny took the gun and refused again Missy's request for a divorce. As Missy sobbed in the next room, Danny was tormented by a montage of Liz, Madge, and Sam hounding him mercilessly.
