Amazon MGM Studios (formerly known as Amazon Studios) is the movie and television production and distribution arm of Amazon.

History
In 2008, Amazon entered into the film business, partnering with 20th Century Fox on the movie The Stolen Child (which wound up going unreleased). The studio would launch two years later, with the intent of distributing TV shows, movies, and comics from submissions online
