Dana Hall is the twenty-second episode of the seventh season of Adam-12, and the one hundred seventy-second episode overall.

Reed is once again paired with a rookie officer, this time a (reasonably) attractive young woman named Dana Hall. She is determined to be a good officer ... but will she be disillusioned by the sexist, prejudiced comments by the male officers, especially Officer Wells? And can Reed and Malloy put aside their own prejudices to help Hall reach her potential and prove their male colleagues wrong?

Starring: Martin Milner (Officer Pete Malloy), Kent McCord (Officer Jim Reed)

with Jo Ann Pflug (Officer Dana Hall), Marla Adams (Mildred Bell), Barry Miller (Tom Bell), Fred Stromsoe (Officer Woods)

and Gary Crosby (Officer Wells)

Uncredited: Shaaron Claridge (Dispatcher)

Plot Overview

Reed gets another temporary partner, a young lady who, despite the sexist treatment by the other officers, is determined to prove she can do the job.

In the end, Hall will have her chance to prove her full potential at a rock concert, in which the precinct has been assigned to work security. And she really, really does her job well ... impressing several of the veteran officers – even Malloy and Reed, who knew she had the potential if given a chance – and outperforming Wells. The loudmouthed, sexist Wells has to admit Hall just might have what it takes to be a good police officer after all.
