Gidget Gets Married (1972) is a TV movie which aired as part of the ABC Movie of the Week. It is a sequel to the theatrical films Gidget, Gidget Goes Hawaiian and Gidget Goes to Rome, as well as the 1965 series Gidget and the earlier ABC Movie of the Week Gidget Grows Up. Like Gidget Grows Up, Gidget Gets Married was a failed attempt to revive the franchise for television, although the character would return again in the 1980s series The New Gidget.
