Plot Overview
J.R. is nearly scared to death by Kookie and Jeff's anniversary 'horseplay' and vows to get back at Kookie. Kookie is sent out of town on an assignment to get some papers signed, but soon runs into trouble when a hitchhiker he picks up orders him at knifepoint to switch clothes with him and steals his car. The man just committed a vicious rape of a housewife, and Kookie's on the hook for the crime. He tries to call J.R., but his friend thinks it's a joke and refuses to help. Eventually, Kookie breaks jail and finds himself being chased by a lynch mob led by the rape victim's husband. Jeff and J.R. soon determine that Kookie's in trouble, but with the phone lines being down due to a storm, they can't get a call through, plus it's a very long drive to get there.
