Plot Overview
With Jeff and Stu out of the office, Rex takes on a client--a beautiful girl from a rich Dallas family who wants him to travel to Las Vegas to save him from the clutches of a gold-digger. Shortly after leaving L.A., the private plane carrying Rex explodes in mid-air and crashes and he is presumed dead. Jeff and Roscoe curtail their fishing trip and return to the office, as does Stu, and they try to find Rex's mysterious client, while also trying to piece together just what happened on that plane, and come to the conclusion that Rex is alive, wherever he is. They soon discover that he's been shanghaied and taken aboard a boat to South America.

The Show
Since they need to find a character in Miami, one who could shed light on Rex's disappearance, Stu puts in a call to Kenny Madison and Sandy Winfield III of the Surfside 6 agency. Van Williams and Troy Donahue appear in those roles, respectively, that they played on Surfside 6.
