Jonesy Garcia is a tall boy of Spanish/Filipino background. He is the gang's cocky, self-styled leader and a self-professed ladies' man, although his arrogance usually gets him in trouble with the girls he pursues. He also likes playing hockey and pulling pranks, and he has been in an on-again, off-again romantic relationship with Nikki Wong, with whom he has been friends since both were four years old, and on whom he has had a crush since he was 14. A running gag in the series is Jonesy's inability to keep a job for more than one episode, as he invariably gets fired from every job he has at the mall due to various screwups. He has two younger brothers, Diego and Robbie, and later became a stepbrother to Jen Masterson upon the marriage of Jen's mother, Emma Masterson, and the Garcia boys' father. He is now also a half-brother to Emma's new baby girl, who is also named Emma.
