Subject Profile
Longtimes friends Johari Jenkins and Vito Summa are two thirty-somethings who are about to turn their lives upside down. Johari is an events organizer while Vito is a night club bouncer and aspiring lawyer. They are very funny and cute together. While not wealthy, they are both working hard to "get things." They are totally clueless about environmental issues - thinking they do not have to worry about if: there will be enough fuel, America will figure something out, let someone else worry about it, it's not our problem. Like many of us, they are dependent on their cars, cell phones and computers. They enjoy the finer things in life and are hard pressed to give them up. For the next thirty days, they will have to do just that and live in an eco village in rural Missouri known as Dancing Rabbit.
Originally from the Greater New York area, Johari currently resides in Jersey City, NJ and Vito in the Bronx, NY.
