Teri Bauer was the wife of CTU agent Jack Bauer.

Teri Bauer and her daughter Kim were kidnapped by terrorists during the events of Day 1. Teri was raped by one of the terrorists during the ordeal, but managed to turn the situation to her advantage, stealing his cell phone and calling for help. They were rescued by Jack and taken to a CTU safe house where they were debriefed. However, the terrorists came for her yet again, and Teri and Kim barely escaped with their lives.

Teri managed to get to CTU and believed she was safe, but she accidentally found out that CTU agent Nina Myers was a traitor. Myers, under orders not to let anyone compromise her escape, fatally shot Teri in the stomach.
