• Twelve months on the run after Day Four, Jack Bauer is haggard and tired in Chicago. Chloe O'Brian has arranged to meet with Jack in Chicago at 1:50 P.M.. She warns him that someone hacked into the autopsy record of Jack's death. Whoever it was didn't find any concrete evidence, but they do know that Chloe was loking at the record, and she was in contact with an undercover operative in Chicago. Chloe guessed that whoever it was knows that Jack is not really dead. She warns him to get out of Chicago. Jack asks about Kim. Chloe tells him that Kim's gotten over Jack's "death."
• As Jack prepares to leave, a suspicious motor cyclist shows up, followed by a more suspicious car. Jack tries to lose the pursuer, and eventually lures the pursuing car into a nasty crash with a forklift, killing the driver. The mystery motorcyclist watches Jack drive off.
