Your First Impression, an NBC game show co-created by Monty Hall, was a variation on To Tell the Truth.
A celebrity guest sat in a booth behind the panel, out of view, and at the emcee's podium were five pictures, one of whom is the guest. Three celebrity panelists proposed open-ended statements for the celebrity guest to complete, and each answer is heard only by the emcee so as not to give away his/her identity to the panel. After the questioning, the panel tries to pick out which of the five pictures is that of the guest.
In 1964, the format changed to that of having a celebrity guest queried on stage followed by three other people, one of who shares a personal tie with the guest. The second half of the show had the celebrity-in-the-booth format.
