Witch Hunter Robin is an action anime program created by Hajime Yatate and Shukou Murase with character designs by Kumiko Takahashi.
The series takes place in a world where many have the genetic predisposition to become "witches" - individuals possessing superhuman powers, like telekinesis or the ability to create electricity. Witches whose powers have awakened are considered threats, and thus an organization called Solomon has been created to monitor and eliminate them if necessary. One branch of this organization, the STN-J in Japan, has found a way to deactivate their powers, and chooses to take witches into custody instead. As the series begins, the STN-J has just received a new member - Robin, a "craft-user" with the ability to generate fire.
Over time Robin starts finding out more about the history of witches, the motives of her employers, and the mystery of her own origins. Why is she considered a "craft-user" and not a "witch", and what gives them the right to arrest witches who haven't done anything wrong?
