Plot Overview
Grace and Luis Rivera of New Jersey treat their two daughters: 17-year-old Melinda & 11-year-old Marisa like they're prison inmates. They have installed cameras throughout the house, check their e-mails & phone calls and even read their diaries. Melinda and Marisa are not allowed to hang out with their friends & not allowed to date boys until they're 21 years old. Grace has the family obey her every command and even spoils the family dog.
Grace swaps lives with Robin Rowland of Illinois, who would prefer cruising with her husband, Doug on their motorcycle than parent their three teenage daughters: 17-year-old Kristin, 15-year-old Devin and 13-year-old Sarah. The girls leave the house whenever they want, dress provocatively for their age and disrespect their parents.
